Trans Day of Visibility, recognized on March 31st each year, celebrates transgender and gender-expansive people, and acknowledges the work that remains to be done to end discrimination and violence against trans people. With unprecedented attacks on trans Americans from local school districts to the Oval Office, it is more important than ever to fight for the rights of some of the most marginalized among us. At the California Women’s Law Center, we recognize that cisgender women must stand together with trans folks in our efforts to protect bodily autonomy and freedom of expression for all. To learn about the ongoing efforts in the California Legislature to protect and expand the rights of trans Californians, check out Equality California's legislation list: https://www.eqca.org/legislation/ #
