Empty Bowls-Placerville,California Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort to fight hunger. A handmade bowl is given as a reminder of hunger.

EMPTY BOWLS SUPPER FUNDRAISER -in-person! April 6, 2024

This event raises funds to help feed the poor locally and internationally. The Supper includes a home-cooked meal of soup, bread and beverage in a handmade, ceramic keepsake bowl, plus desserts and wine for sale. You get to take your bowl home with you as a reminder that hunger exists right here as well as abroad.

Youth in 6th-12th grades are invited to apply for the Hands4Hope Empty Bowls Committee!

Empty Bowls Dinner Placerville is planned and run by a youth-led Hands4Hope Committee. Youth from throughout the region meet for months to plan all aspects of the event, from vendors and food to volunteers and beneficiaries. Most meetings will take place at the Hands4Hope Placerville Youth Center. Applications are due Friday, October 10.

The next Empty Bowls Dinner will take place on February 15, 2026.
