Hey mama šŸ¤

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately… you’re not alone.
Some days are just really hard.

If you’re struggling, it’s okay to say that out loud.
It’s okay to need support.
And your mental health matters just as much as everything else you’re carrying.

You don’t have to do this by yourself.

We’re here to listen, to care, and to walk with you, whenever you’re ready. šŸ¤

šŸ¤ Motherhood can be beautiful… and overwhelming.
During Maternal Mental Health Month, we want women to know:

• You are not alone.
• Your mental health matters.
• Asking for help is a sign of strength.
• Being constantly overwhelmed should not be your norm.
• You are valuable, loved, and worthy of support.

If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, fear, or emotional exhaustion, please talk to someone you trust or seek professional support. Healing starts when we stop suffering in silence.

Our caring team is here to listen, support, and help guide you to resources and care. šŸ¤ If you need to talk to someone right away, reach out to the free National Maternal Mental Health Hotline. They are available 24/7 call or text (1-833-852-6262).

Some stories give voice to what many mothers quietly carry.
Hannah Harper’s ā€œString Cheeseā€ audition highlights the emotional weight that can come with motherhood, and the importance of being seen, supported, and heard.
During Maternal Mental Health Month, we honor every mother navigating anxiety, depression, or overwhelm.
You are not alone. Help is here. Let's talk!

ā€œPrevention at every age.ā€

It sounds simple, but it’s something a lot of women quietly put off. Not because it doesn’t matter, but because everything else feels more urgent.
• Appointments get delayed
• Rest gets pushed aside
• Small concerns get ignored

But your health isn’t something to circle back to later.
It’s the foundation you’re building your life on right now.
Taking care of your health can look like:
• Scheduling that check-up
• Nourishing your body
• Moving and resting well
• Asking questions and paying attention

These aren’t small things. They’re powerful, preventative, life-shaping choices. No matter where you find yourself today, your health is worth paying attention to. You deserve care, support, and space to prioritize your health.

If you ever need a place to ask questions or take that next step, our nurses and advocates are here for you.

Today we celebrate the moms who are exhausted and giving their all.
The moms rocking newborns through sleepless nights, packing school lunches, guiding grown children, loving children from far away, grieving children they miss deeply, and carrying the weight of motherhood with quiet strength every single day.

We celebrate birth moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, stepmoms, grandmas raising grandchildren, and the women who love and nurture others with a mother’s heart.

Motherhood is tireless, wholehearted, and without days off — and real moms deserve to be celebrated today and every day. šŸ¤

Here at FLC, we honor you and want to be a help at any stage of motherhood. Reach out anytime — our team is here to support and walk alongside you.

Come See Your Baby for the First Time šŸ’•

We’re hosting an Ultrasound Model Day on May 13th at our Shelbyville Center, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

If you’re 7-12 weeks pregnant, you can receive free ultrasound images, a special first look at your little one, while helping our nurses grow in their skills and training.

Can’t make it that day?
No problem! We’re happy to schedule your ultrasound at a time that works best for you.

What comes after matters…

No one really talks about the after.
The thoughts that show up out of nowhere.
The feelings you didn’t expect.
The memories that don’t just disappear.
For some, the after feels heavy: emotionally, mentally, even physically. And that matters.
Your mental health matters.
Your questions matter.
Your story matters.

You don’t have to sort through it all alone. We’re here to have real, open, judgment-free conversations and help you find healing at your own pace. šŸ’œ
