BREAKING NEWS: Clean Water Action is proud to announce our first Michigan Congressional endorsement of 2026- Will Lawrence for Congress in Congressional District 7!

“Members of Congress ought to be leaders in their communities and people who we can trust to stand up for their constituents. When big tech companies wanted to build a data center in downtown Lansing, Will Lawrence helped lead the opposition. When Lansing area residents have been fighting to keep their homes, and advocating for affordable housing, Will Lawrence has been there leading the fight alongside them. When people across the state have been fighting for more affordable utility bills, Will has been standing with them against the monopoly utilities and supporting efforts to get corporate money out of politics. When students have been concerned for their future and our government has failed to fight climate change, Will helped establish the Sunrise Movement and changed the conversation around climate nationally. We know that we can trust Will Lawrence to fight for our community in DC, because he has already been here with us, fighting for our community for years. BREAKING NEWS - unanimously sides with AG Dana Nessel, stopping Enbridge's attempt to move their Line 5 case to federal court.

The lawsuit over the 73 year old pipeline under the Straits of Mackinac will remain in Michigan.

Enbridge Energy LP acted too late to try and move to federal court a lawsuit over its attempt to preserve portions of its Line 5 pipeline, the US Supreme Court said Wednesday.
