✨ Our playroom got some ROAR-some new additions! 🦖

A huge thank-you to our generous donors for these thoughtful donations!

Our wonderful office volunteer, Iva, sanitized our new dinosaur collection, and we can’t wait to see the adventures the children create with them!

And just look at this adorable mini rocking chair! 😍 A generous donor repolished it and added the comfiest cushion, creating the perfect little spot for a child to rock, relax, and read their favorite book.

We are so grateful for everyone who helps make our playroom a safe, welcoming place where children in shelter can have fun, learn, play, and just be kids.

💛 Want to make a difference? We are currently seeking playroom volunteers to spend time with children in shelter, whether that means embarking on a Jurassic World adventure, helping choose the perfect book, or simply being there to play and connect.

Stairwell project is now complete! ✔

Replacing stairwell flooring throughout the shelter was long overdue and really brightens up the spaces. 😆

We are so grateful for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority Shelter Repair Grant to have the opportunity to make these much-needed repairs and Community Building Services, LLC for their amazing work!

Happy Monday! ✨

As our families settle into a new routine for the school year, the school bus stopping at the shelter, parents waving goodbye, and children heading off for a great day of learning. 🚌

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our generous donors who helped make this school year a little brighter for 57 children in our shelter and aftercare programs. Your support truly makes a difference!

A special thank you to the Distinguished Elegance Social Club for providing back-to-school clothing, backpacks, and school supplies for 11 children in our shelter, as well as backpacks and supplies to support children throughout the school year. Your generosity means so much to our families!

We also want to give a big shoutout to The City of East Lansing for donating backpacks and school supplies to help our children start the year prepared and confident.

Community support makes all the difference for our shelter and the families we serve. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped make a positive impact on children in need this school year.

🚨URGENT NEEDS: Diapers, Pull-ups, and Baby Wipes

Haven House is urgently in need of diapers in various sizes, pull-ups, and baby wipes for the families staying in our shelter and those participating in our aftercare program.

Our shelter families with little ones in daycare need extra diapers, which means our supply disappears quickly. Your donation can make a big difference in helping us keep these essential items stocked for the babies and toddlers who need them most.

Exciting news!!! 🎉One shelter family moved into housing after just 15 days! Their hard work helped them reach home.

The family has now entered our Partners in Progress program, where they will continue to receive case management support from our Housing Resource Specialist for the next 14 months.
