Reminder to any media and others that may give press to RicStar's Camp again this year. The full name of the camp is the Eric 'RicStar' Winter Music Therapy Camp. The shortened version is 'RicStar's Camp.' The name of the film about our camp is CAMP RICSTAR. Hopefully that helps with accuracy. It's easy to confuse them and we love staying on brand! We are grateful for all media coverage in past years and hope you will cover our 24th year and our award-winning film now streaming at PBS.org. When we set out to capture Eric’s rich story to honor his life and legacy, and recognize RicStar’s Camp, we knew we needed to put the campers/families front and center. That was what could impact real change in disability acceptance for viewers. We choose eight terrific campers that we believed would do this film justice. They did not disappoint. In addition to Eric, they are the heart of CAMP RICSTAR. We are so fortunate that they and their families said yes to this ground-breaking project. 😊

In addition, one of our favorite long-time Canadian campers,
Evan Fiorella, became the face of our film on our official film poster. Big thanks to Evan and his family, Alison & Chris.
