In October Sara, from HerWildLife.Org took three women on a blast and cast event in Wisconsin. On the first day we met up with Jerry Costabile, captain of Resolute Charters. We had a blast bringing in lake trout as the ladies fought three to four foot waves. On the second day we all met back up in Edgerton, Wi at the Exclusive Hunting Club for Pheasant hunt. Once again the ladies were on point knocking down one bird after another. Huge shout out to OE4A Outdoor Experience 4 All and Fowl Play Unlimited for all your support and donations. Harvest, Cook and Eat CHALLENGE!
Starting on the 19th of September, participants will be challenged to eat only what they've harvested. Either by hunting, fishing or gardening.
You will have this week and next week to jump start on your harvests for when the event starts.
If on any given day, or meal you come up short, you can reach out to a fellow hunter, fisher or gardener for food. If that's not an option try purchasing locally from a butcher shop or farmers market.

This challenge is meant to raise awareness about Mental Health and Su***de in the Veteran community and get more Female Veterans in the outdoors!

For those who donate at least $10 to herwildlife.org and participate will be entered to win a gift card from Grandt Custom RODS.
The recipient of the gift card will be held on September 26 via Facebook live.
