Since today’s parade was canceled, here is a quick video of Troop 22 (formerly Troops 28 & 82) marching in the 1955 East Haddam Memorial Day Parade. Followed by “today’s” East Haddam Cub Scouts - Pack 22, carrying on the tradition.

Tonight, our Troop proudly held its spring Court of Honor ceremony, celebrating the hard work, leadership, and dedication of our Scouts.

An impressive 72 merit badges were earned (39 by one Scout alone) highlighting the commitment and perseverance shown by our Scouts throughout these last six months. We also recognized milestone rank advancements, including Scouts achieving the ranks of Star and Life — major steps on their journey toward Eagle Scout.

As we celebrated these accomplishments, we also took time to honor the mothers of the Scouts earning these ranks. Their support, encouragement, patience, and countless hours behind the scenes play an important role in helping these young men succeed. These achievements are not earned alone, and tonight we proudly recognize the families who help make Scouting possible.

Congratulations to all of our Scouts on their outstanding accomplishments. We are proud of each and every one of you!

A crossover event for a Cub Scout is a special and memorable ceremony that marks the transition from Cub Scouts into Scouts BSA. This weekend, the Arrow of Light Scouts from East Haddam Cub Scouts - Pack 22 proudly crossed over to begin their next adventure with Troop 22.

Congratulations and a warm welcome to Avery, Quinn, Ryden, and Alexander! We wish you the very best as you start this exciting new chapter on the trail ahead!

Today, Troop 22 Scouts took time out of their spring break to work on their requirements for the First Aid merit badge. This Eagle Scout required badge goes right to the heart of what Scouting is about, which is being prepared to help others when it matters most.

Thank you to East Haddam Fire Department’s EMS Captain Melanie Kolek for instructing the class.
