Connecticut Against Fracking works to stop fracking and the expansion of natural gas, fracked fuels, and fracking waste into Connecticut. Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is a dangerous practice that involves injecting water and as many as 600 proprietary chemicals, including uranium and formaldehyde, into the ground to mine natural gas from shale. Fracking has caused hundreds of documented case

s of water contamination and environmental damage. Although natural gas is marketed as a greener, cheaper alternative fuel, it is NOT a green fuel and will not remain inexpensive once we are hooked on gas. Please join our non-partisan group to fight the expansion of the fracked gas infrastructure and use of fracked fuel.
