Here is a blurb about another book and area of expertise: Strategic Planning in Trade Unions:
Trade unionism has a direct impact on national development on a global scale. The prevailing challenges facing unions demand disruptive actions grounded in assertive strategies. Those holding statutory leadership positions must possess the organizational and managerial tools necessary to effectively position their unions for the near future.
Drawing on over thirty years of experience as a union representative, activist, and researcher, I propose a framework in this book to help leaders develop a long-term vision. By combining their existing knowledge and capabilities with effective management tools, they can maximize their results through strategic planning.
Here, I present a model to facilitate action and calculated decision-making by analyzing the internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) inherent in the reality of trade unionism.
This book serves as a valuable resource to complement the expertise of union leaders and trade unionists in general, as well as for anyone involved with or studying these unique organizations.

Our Cinco De Mayo event at Glass Jug RTP was so much fun! Everyone enjoyed our quiz testing their knowledge about this holiday that commemorates an important battle in Mexico's fight against the French in the 1860's. The Chicano movement adopted the holiday in the 1960's to promote Mexican culture, the rights of indigeneous people and to demand equal rights in the US.

Thank you to Cilantro Artisan Foods for donating the yummy Salsas and Chips. Our lucky winner Peyton was delighted. Fess won the basket of goodies from LaSuperior Market.

Victoria and David wowed the crowd with their Mariachi performance.
Thank you again to the Glass Jug RTP for hosting us.
