June is National Children's Vision Awareness Month.

Vision plays an important role in how children learn, grow, and experience the world around them. Yet many vision issues can go unnoticed, especially when children assume everyone sees the same way they do.

Early detection through vision screening and comprehensive eye care can help identify concerns before they impact learning, development, and quality of life.

This month, we celebrate the professionals, educators, healthcare providers, and volunteers working every day to support children's vision and eye health.

Together, we can help more children see clearly and reach their full potential.

One of the most valuable parts of conferences like NAVP is the opportunity to connect with others who understand the work you do.

Vision professionals often work across different specialties, organizations, schools, clinics, and communities, but many of the challenges and goals are shared. Networking creates space to exchange ideas, learn from different approaches, discover new resources, and build relationships that continue long after the conference ends.

Some of the best conversations happen outside the presentation room.

That is one reason we are excited to bring professionals together in Durham this July.
