🎨 ARTIST OPPORTUNITY: Nicole Love Hendrickson Artway

Create Gwinnett, in partnership with Gas South District, Sugarloaf Community Improvement District, and The Hudgens Center for Art & Learning, is seeking artists for a new public art and placemaking installation at Gas South District!

The Nicole Love Hendrickson Artway will transform the stairway and surrounding area connecting the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce to Gas South Arena, creating a unique placemaking experience celebrating the connections between business, art, and entertainment in our community.

📣 This first round is qualifications only. No project concepts are required!

Three finalists will each receive a $1,500 stipend to develop a site-specific concept during the next phase. One artist will ultimately be selected for final design and installation, with an anticipated project budget of $20,000–$40,000.

Register today for free to join Create Gwinnett and Out of Hand Theatre for We Hold These Truths at Town Center on Main in Suwanee. This community gathering will explore the American Dream through a play, conversation, and shared stories.

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we’re bringing people together to ask: What does the American Dream mean today, and what kind of future do we want to build together?

🎭 A PLAY: Experience a thought-provoking short performance.

💬 A CONVERSATION: Take part in a guided discussion led by trained facilitators.

🍴 A MEAL: Local food trucks will have food and beverages available for purchase before and after the performance.

📣 SOMETHING NEW IS COMING TO GWINNETT’S CREATIVE COMMUNITY!

Create Gwinnett is launching the 2027 Gwinnett Creative Economy Leadership Roundtable, a new initiative designed to bring creative leaders from across Gwinnett County together to connect, collaborate, share ideas, and help shape the future of our creative economy.

We’re looking for artists, creatives, educators, nonprofit and community leaders, business professionals, local government representatives, cultural organizations, and other passionate community members who want to be part of the conversation.

Through quarterly gatherings, Roundtable members will build new connections, exchange resources and opportunities, explore possibilities for collaboration, and help inform implementation of the Gwinnett County Creative Economy Plan.

We’re excited to build a table that reflects the incredible range of people, perspectives, communities, and creative work found across Gwinnett County. And we want YOU at the table!

This is a volunteer leadership opportunity; members are not compensated.

🎨 CALL FOR MURAL ARTISTS!

Gateway85 Gwinnett CID is seeking artists for its next public art project, a new mural at Live Oak Parkway and Thompson Parkway!

The project will build on Gateway85’s growing public art efforts and bring more color, creativity, and vibrancy to the district.
