This 501(c)3 is designed to raise funds for medical supplies, ready-to-eat meals and other goods for the people of Ukraine.

The growing concern for the people of Ukraine has never been more evident than in recent months, Initiated by Dr. Paliychuk, of Ukraine, her call for medical supplies, became a call heard around the world. ry Morsberger of Atlanta, Georgia, played a personal role by escorting Stryker Drill Sets to hospitals in Ukraine in his own luggage. Through this effort, The Great Rotarian Relay has grown and has become an example of how individuals trusting one another can make something truly miraculous happen. With the daily needs growing, continuing the humanitarian mission is now focused on August 24th, Ukrainian Independence Day. This year, the day will be highlighted with compassion and contribution. A 24-hour broadcast will tell the story of the issues at hand in Ukraine today which can be seen by going to helpingukraine.us and clicking on “One Day for Ukraine”.

Last night, Russian drones attacked the Odesa region again.
11 people were injured, including children. Homes were damaged, people were burned, wounded by shrapnel, and pulled from another night of explosions and fear.
For many children in Ukraine, this is no longer unusual - it is everyday life.

This summer, together with Odessa People Church, we want to create a safe place for 100 children deeply affected by war - children of fallen soldiers, displaced families, military families, and children with disabilities.
For them, the Summer Kids HUB is more than a camp. It is safety, warm meals, friendship, healing, and a chance to feel like children again.

Please help us give them a few peaceful summer days filled with care and hope. 💛💙

Sometimes kindness arrives quietly. 💙
During the European Film Festival of Atlanta screening of Куба & Аляска / Cuba & Alaska, Dr. Robert Finkel approached us with an incredible gift — surgical loupes for our hospital partners in Sumy and Kyiv.
These specialized glasses help surgeons during trauma and emergency operations, where every second matters.
Another generous supporter donated 2 premium tickets to the Atlanta Opera's Twilight of the Gods on June 5. We decided to turn this beautiful gift into life-saving help for Ukraine.
Everyone who donates to HelpingUkraine.US by May 31 will be entered into a drawing for the tickets.

During Nurses Week, we want to recognize people who choose to save lives - again and again. 💙
Before the screening of CUBA & ALASKA, you will have the chance to meet Yuriy Soroka - a Georgia-based critical care nurse who has been volunteering as a frontline medic in Ukraine since 2022.
While the film tells the story of two female combat medics, Yuriy brings another real voice from the front lines - someone who knows what it means to work where every second matters.
This is more than a film screening. It is a chance to meet the people behind these stories.

Together with our partners Rotary Club Cherkasy and Olha Paliychuk, we continue supporting Specialized School №27 in Cherkasy. 💛
Many students here are displaced children, children of military families, and those from vulnerable backgrounds, including orphans.

Power outages stop two computer labs. From September, 300+ more children will join the school, many with inclusive needs. The school urgently needs a backup power system and an interactive learning table so every child can continue learning in a safe and supportive space.

Our partners at the Mamay Foundation focus on something critical: saving lives before patients even reach the hospital. Since 2023, they have been strengthening pre-hospital care across Ukraine - delivering medical supplies, supporting frontline areas, and training those who respond first.
Together, this work takes shape on the ground.
In Chernihiv, 49 doctors completed advanced training in prolonged care under extreme conditions - the kind they face every day.
In Ochakiv, a boarding school for 69 children now has light and heat during constant outages near the frontline.
We are grateful to stand alongside Mamay Foundation - and to everyone who helps make this possible.
