This 501(c)3 is designed to raise funds for medical supplies, ready-to-eat meals and other goods for the people of Ukraine.

The growing concern for the people of Ukraine has never been more evident than in recent months, Initiated by Dr. Paliychuk, of Ukraine, her call for medical supplies, became a call heard around the world. Through individuals who reached out to one another from Ukraine to the US. A mission began sending medical supplies, ready-to-eat food and even cots for shelters bound for Ukraine. Rotarian, Emory Morsberger of Atlanta, Georgia, played a personal role by escorting Stryker Drill Sets to hospitals in Ukraine in his own luggage. Through this effort, The Great Rotarian Relay has grown and has become an example of how individuals trusting one another can make something truly miraculous happen. With the daily needs growing, continuing the humanitarian mission is now focused on August 24th, Ukrainian Independence Day. This year, the day will be highlighted with compassion and contribution. A 24-hour broadcast will tell the story of the issues at hand in Ukraine today which can be seen by going to helpingukraine.us and clicking on “One Day for Ukraine”.

🇺🇦 GOOD NEWS FROM UKRAINE: 270 UKRAINIANS RETURN HOME!

Today, October 23, Ukraine welcomed home 270 people released from Russian captivity — 261 service members and 9 civilians.

Among those freed are defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal, including five survivors of the Olenivka prison attack. Many had been held captive since 2022.

This is a day of hope, relief, and long-awaited reunions for Ukrainian families.

At HelpingUkraine.US, we celebrate this wonderful news and stand with every family still waiting for their loved ones to return.

Welcome home! May every Ukrainian still in captivity experience this moment of freedom.

Yesterday, Russia launched another massive attack across Ukraine. At least 28 people were killed, 84 injured, and 17 rescued.

The hardest-hit area was Pryluky in the Chernihiv region, where a Russian strike destroyed part of a five-story apartment building. At least 22 people were killed, including five children, and 54 were injured. Fifteen people were rescued from the rubble.

Other strikes hit Kyiv, Kremenchuk, Oleksandriia, Kramatorsk, and the Kyiv region, damaging homes, businesses, and other civilian buildings.

Behind every number is a person, a family, and a life changed in a matter of seconds.

A big thank you to Five and Ten for supporting children in Ukraine, their support is helping the Center of the NGO “Rodyna for People with Disabilities” ГО "Родина для осіб з інвалідністю" continue its day care program.

For children with disabilities, the Center is a safe and familiar place to spend time with friends, create, learn, exercise, and work with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists.

For parents, it means knowing their children are safe and surrounded by people they trust.

We’re grateful to Five & Ten, the Blaga Nadiya Foundation БФ "Блага Надія", and everyone who makes this work possible. 💛

Today, a Russian drone struck a building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi District. One person was killed and six people were injured. The impact caused a large fire, and parts of the second and third floors were destroyed.

A separate Russian strike hit the Dobrobut medical center, damaging the building and medical equipment and injuring people there as well.

These are not military targets. They are places where people work, study, receive medical care, and support their communities.

For Ukrainians, attacks like this are not just headlines. They mean damaged workplaces, disrupted medical services, and another reminder that the war continues to affect everyday life.

We’re happy to share a few moments from a very meaningful evening in Dallas. 🇺🇸🇺🇦

Helping Ukraine supported the 2nd Annual Tip of the Spear Landmine Removal Gala and had the chance to spend the evening with people who continue to stand with Ukraine.

We’re especially grateful to Ryan Michael Hendrickson, his wife Dawn, Sarah Corry, Jenniffer Brady, and the whole Tip of the Spear team for their friendship and continued work.

It was wonderful to also see Congressman Pete Sessions, Consul General of Ukraine Vitalii Moshkivskyi, American veterans, Ukrainian defenders, and so many friends of Ukraine.

Every day, Russia attacks civilian areas across Ukraine. And every day, Ukrainian rescuers are there to help people through the aftermath. 🇺🇦

They put out fires, respond to attacks, rescue people, and work in dangerous conditions. When the power goes out, their work becomes even harder.

That’s why, together with Power in UA, HelpingUkraine.US supported the installation of solar backup power systems for DSNS rescue units in Kharkiv.

Today, these systems help rescuers stay operational during blackouts and continue responding when people need them most.

Behind every rescue is someone who chose to run toward danger and help.

Behind the news are people — children, families, veterans, and communities finding ways to keep going. 🇺🇦

In Kryvyi Rih, a rehabilitation center was facing blackouts of up to 20 hours a day. With the support of our community, HelpingUkraine.US raised $14,880 for a solar power system, working together with Good Deed Foundation Благодійний Фонд "Добрий Самарянин".

Today, the system helps keep essential services running — from rehabilitation and medical care to daily support for the local community.

Up to 20 children come to the center each day. Humanitarian assistance can reach up to 120 people daily, and on bread distribution days, held every other day, up to 300 people receive bread.

It’s one project, but it supports many people in their everyday lives. 💛💙
