Helping Ukraine

Helping Ukraine This 501(c)3 is designed to raise funds for medical supplies, ready-to-eat meals and other goods for the people of Ukraine.

The growing concern for the people of Ukraine has never been more evident than in recent months, Initiated by Dr. Paliychuk, of Ukraine, her call for medical supplies, became a call heard around the world. Through individuals who reached out to one another from Ukraine to the US. A mission began sending medical supplies, ready-to-eat food and even cots for shelters bound for Ukraine. Rotarian, Emo

ry Morsberger of Atlanta, Georgia, played a personal role by escorting Stryker Drill Sets to hospitals in Ukraine in his own luggage. Through this effort, The Great Rotarian Relay has grown and has become an example of how individuals trusting one another can make something truly miraculous happen. With the daily needs growing, continuing the humanitarian mission is now focused on August 24th, Ukrainian Independence Day. This year, the day will be highlighted with compassion and contribution. A 24-hour broadcast will tell the story of the issues at hand in Ukraine today which can be seen by going to helpingukraine.us and clicking on โ€œOne Day for Ukraineโ€.

For more than two days, Kyiv and the surrounding region have barely had a moment of peace.
Since August 27, the region has faced 38 Russian attacks, with air raid alerts sounding day and night.
This is not just a headline or a statistic.
It is parents waking their children in the middle of the night. Families running to shelters. People wondering if their homes will still be there in the morning.

Please donโ€™t just scroll past. Take action.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Contact your U.S. Representative and Senators and tell them Ukraine still needs Americaโ€™s support โ€” especially air defense to protect civilians.

What can one community do for a country at war? More than you might imagine. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Over the past year, people across metro Atlanta have helped Ukrainian children, hospitals, communities, and wounded Ukrainians rebuild their lives.

A new The Atlanta Journal-Constitution article featuring Emory Morsberger shares this story โ€” and whatโ€™s possible when people choose to care.

Weโ€™re grateful to Emory, our donors, Rotary Club of Gwinnett County, partners, volunteers, and everyone who stands with Ukraine.

Through August 24, donations of $100 or more to Rotaryโ€™s fundraiser are matched 2:1.

Ryan Michael Hendrickson is an American veteran who knows firsthand what a landmine can take from a person. After being seriously injured himself and spending a long time recovering, Ryan chose to keep serving โ€” this time by helping clear landmines in Ukraine.

Today, he and his team work to make Ukrainian homes, farms, and communities safe again.

Their story is featured in SAFE GROUND: From Minefields to Wheat Fields.

We are proud to call Ryan our friend and partner, and grateful for the work he continues to do for Ukraine.

Another night. More lives stolen.

Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine, killing at least 17 people and injuring more than 40 in the Kyiv region.

Just one day earlier, in Kherson, a 52-year-old market vendor was deliberately targeted by a Russian drone while simply doing his job.

These are not military targets. These are ordinary people trying to live, work, and care for their families.

Every donation helps provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainians living through this terror every day. Please stand with Ukraine. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

In Ukraine, Olga Gorman visited the community bakery supported by HelpingUkraine.US and our partners at Good Deed Foundation.

Here, local women volunteer their time to bake bread for families affected by the war. They provide 40 loaves for Charivne, 40 loaves for Novodmytrivka, and 60 loaves for Vysokopillia and Arkhanhelske - all free of charge. For many families, this bread is more than food; it is a reminder that they have not been forgotten.

Thank you to our donors, partners, and these incredible women whose kindness brings comfort and hope to their communities. Together, we are helping Ukraine one loaf, one family, and one act of compassion at a time. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™
