Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) is a personal and professional development program led by the Gwinnett Chamber. The program encourages young business people to develop and enhance leadership skills, exchange ideas, share common interests, learn more about the area’s business community, and engage in the community’s future. GYP targets individuals who are living and/or working in Gwinnett and are between the ages of 21 to 35.

Great leaders don't all sound the same, and that was the focus of our October Journey workshop. ✨

With guidance from Linnea Miller of Long Table Consulting, Journeyers explored the 5 Voices Assessment to better understand their unique leadership voice and how it influences the way they communicate, solve problems, offer feedback, and approach difficult conversations.

Through honest discussion and hands-on learning, participants gained new tools to lead more effectively while appreciating the strengths different voices bring to a team.

🌟 Journey Double Feature! Meet Camille Lawrence and Dan Jacob, two standout leaders from our Journey Class of 2026.

Camille Lawrence is a Project Coordinator at LayerCake Tech. She believes that the key to success is stewarding your skills to provide the most value no matter what position you’re in. In all circumstances, be grateful, stay humble, and thank God.

Dan Jacob is a Distribution Engineer with Georgia Power. He looks forward to progressing his skills and abilities to help him move forward and become the best engineer he can be.

Together, they’re bringing energy and ambition to this year’s Journey class, and we can’t wait to watch them grow!

🌟 Friday Feature: Two Perspectives, One Journey! Meet Brittany Wright and Caitlin Moore, members of our Journey Class of 2027

Brittany is an Executive Administrative Assistant/Operations professional at CDH Partners who is passionate about business, leadership, and organizational growth. She values strong relationships, strategic thinking, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow as a leader in her profession and community.

Caitlin is a District Distribution Engineer at Jackson EMC and a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. With two years of experience in the electric utility industry, she’s focused on strengthening her communication and decision-making skills as she continues to develop as a leader.

We’re proud to have Brittany and Caitlin on this Journey and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow!

Celebrating 35 incredible winners, 70 outstanding finalists and the next generation of leaders making an impact right here in our community. We’re proud to celebrate their accomplishments and grateful to everyone who helped make this night so special.
