It's here! Today is Dubuque Oktoberfest, Saturday, September 13! Festival runs 11 am to 5 pm at the Q Casino + Resort's Back Waters Stage. Here is the lineup so you can plan your attendance:

11 a.m. Festival opens
11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Loras Jazz Ensemble
12 p.m. Ceremonial Keg March with Mayor Brad Cavanagh
12:15 – 1:15 p.m. Americana Band
1:15 – 2 p.m. University of Northern Iowa (UNI) Illuminate Dance Troupe performing and teaching polka dancing
2 – 3 p.m. Wiener Dog Parade & Races
3 – 4 p.m. Guttenberg German Band
4 p.m. Stein Holding Contest
5 p.m. Festival closes

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food stand, German food truck - Chew on This, Sour Joe’s food truck serving up the Central European food, Kolaches, ice cream treats by Delaney’s Ice Cream, beverages, and games will be available all day.

There is limited parking surrounding the Back Waters Stage due to construction, but there is plenty of parking in the Q Casino parking lot.

Please note only registered Dachshunds for the Wiener Dog Parade and Races and service animals are allowed at the festival due to Back Water Stage rules.

All proceeds from Dubuque Oktoberfest support Camp Albrecht Acres, a camp in Sherrill, IA, serving special needs adults and kids.

For those who want to attend in time for this event, the Wiener Dog Parade and Races start at 2 pm. The races will be in the grassy area near the road at the Q Casino + Resort's Back Waters Stage.
