More on HB664 -- this legislation helps us help more animals. Adding a limitation to shelters, limits the animals that can be helped! The animals need us!

Dr G had the opportunity to present Interested Party (IP) testimony on behalf of House Bill 664, which in its original format increases access to wellness care through Registered Veterinary Technicians. The bill, as originally presented, would allow RVTs, under the direction and guidance of a licensed veterinarian, to provide vaccines including Rabies and preventive care to companion animals in Ohio. Important legislation can help animal welfare professionals save more lives.
