Glitter Guild is honored to be the featured nonprofit at Music in the Village on Thursday June 25, from 6:30–8:30 PM at Monahan Park in Shawnee Hills.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends and enjoy a free performance by the Chaz Mechenbier Band while soaking up all the community vibes. 🎸✨

We’ll be there sharing more about our mission of supporting local families impacted by cancer and life-threatening illness, and we’ll have snacks and beverages available for purchase.

Volunteers, please join us on Monday, June 29 at The Recipe Cooking & Company for a fun, hands-on meal prep and cooking experience where you’ll learn how easy it can be to prepare family-friendly meals for families in our community. Whether you’re an experienced cook or just getting started, we’ll provide everything you need—including ingredients, recipes, supplies, and step-by-step instruction.

More importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to:
✨ Build confidence in the kitchen
✨ Meet and connect with fellow volunteers
✨ Learn new skills and share ideas
✨ Make a meaningful difference for local families living through their most challenging days

Together, we’ll prepare snacks and meals, strengthen our community, and cook up a little extra joy along the way.

This morning, Glitter Guild was proud to serve as the Pickleball Game Sponsor at the Dublin Chamber of Commerce Corporate Charity Cup!

Events like this are about so much more than friendly competition. They’re an opportunity to connect with the incredible local businesses, organizations, and community leaders who help make our work possible. We were grateful for the chance to support local businesses and nonprofits, meet new faces, share our mission, and introduce more people to the ways they can get involved.

Every conversation helps us spread awareness about the families we serve and the power of community during life’s most difficult moments. Whether someone becomes a volunteer, donor, sponsor, or advocate, it all starts with a connection.

🌿 Glitter in the Garden is growing! 🌿

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially sold 20 of our 100 tickets in our June Fill the Garden Challenge! Thank you to everyone who has already reserved their seat for what promises to be a beautiful evening of giving, gathering, and growing.

We’re also incredibly grateful to announce that our community sponsorship opportunities are nearly sold out. Local businesses and families have stepped forward in a big way to help make this event possible, and their support is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together around a shared purpose.

Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps us continue practical support, joyful experiences, and other critical services to families in our community facing cancer and life-threatening illness.

What happens when you bring together dozens of families facing some of life’s toughest challenges?

You get a room full of courage. A room full of hope. A room full of people who understand one another without needing many words.

This week, and hosted one of our largest Katelyn’s Krafts gatherings ever, bringing together families impacted by cancer for an evening of connection, community, and joy.

We were honored to have Coach .ryan and his family join us, but what stood out most wasn’t who was in the room—it was how they showed up. They listened. They connected. They spent time with families. They helped create moments that allowed parents, children, and siblings to simply enjoy being together.

These are the moments that matter.

Because while a cancer diagnosis can feel isolating, no family should have to walk that journey alone. At Glitter Guild, we believe in creating opportunities for families to build connections, make memories, and experience joy—even in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening possible, and to every family who trusted us to be part of their journey.

Every seat filled at Glitter in the Garden represents something bigger than a night out. It represents a meal on a night when cooking feels impossible. A ride home from chemo treatment. A counseling session for a family. A moment of joy during an incredibly difficult journey.

Our goal is to fill 100 seats by June 30, and we’re inviting our community to help make it happen. Will you help us fill the next one?
