This week, Ms. Bozyk found herself working with kids on a horse farm, even though she is terrified of all things animal. 🤣 At We Care, we go where we are needed!!! 🥰

Thank you, Sarah Parker, Growth Works Inc, and Healing with Horses for the invitation! What an incredible program!! 💖

On the very first day of our "Growing Together" STEM class, we harvested our new hydroponic system's first batch of lettuce, then hand-fed it to a real live tortoise! 😍 We're learning AND making wonderful memories! 🌿 💖

Our most important shout-out following our We Care “Growing Together” Community Day goes out to the children! 🥰

We were greatly impressed with how curious, attentive, engaged, and enthusiastic they were as they learned about hydroponic gardening, dissected seeds, practiced DNA extraction, and more! 🥹 We look so forward to working with these brilliant young people in our “Growing Together” STEM program! 🌱 ❤️

We cannot overstate how pleased we are with the success of our We Care “Growing Together” Community Day!!! 🥰

Huge thanks to Ford Philanthropy for sponsoring and to the many Ford volunteers, led by Jasmine Janeè, whose hard work helped make the day possible! 💪🏿 💪🏻 💪🏾

We’re incredibly grateful to BLVD Harambee for hosting the event and to Church of the Messiah for housing our new hydroponic system and hosting our “Growing Together” STEM program moving forward! 🌱

Finally, thank you to all who volunteered and came out to support, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, thank you to all the children who brought their scientific curiosity, rolled up their sleeves, participated enthusiastically in our hands-on activities, and learned! This is all for YOU! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
