The PowHER Pitch Competition spotlights women‑led innovations shaping the future of health, mobility, prevention, and community wellbeing. We’re looking for bold founders driving change through technology, policy, and scalable impact.

Who can apply:
• Woman-identifying leader (founder, co‑founder, or executive)
• For‑profit venture or scalable concept
• Under $500K annual revenue
• Idea, pilot, prototype, or early‑growth stage
• Aligned with movement, mobility, musculoskeletal health, prevention, wellness, digital health, or women’s health
• Able to present live at the 2026 Summit

Finalists will pitch at the 2026 Annual Health Summit, gain visibility, and access mentorship, partnerships, and funding—including a feature on The Health Disparities Podcast.

The Summit will unite leaders, innovators, clinicians, advocates, and community changemakers for dynamic keynotes, hands‑on workshops, immersive innovation experiences, and powerful conversations shaping the future of women’s health and wellbeing.

Our 2026 keynote speakers include Kim Glass, an Olympic silver medalist and advocate; René Roberts, MD, a nationally recognized physician; and Dr. Bryanne Standifer‑Barrett, a Detroit‑based internist and menopause specialist.

We are excited to announce that PowHer Pitch: Women in Motion is now accepting applications for the 2026 Movement is Life Health Summit in Detroit, Michigan.

The PowHer Pitch Competition elevates women-led innovations advancing health, mobility, movement, prevention, and community wellbeing. We are seeking visionary founders reimagining the future of women’s health through technology, policy, community impact, and scalable solutions.

Who is eligible to apply:

We’re excited to welcome submissions for the 2026 Movement Is Life Annual Summit, happening September 24–25 in Detroit, Michigan!

This year’s theme — Strength in Motion: Reimagining Health through Community, Policy, and Partnership — invites bold ideas, innovative research, and community-driven solutions.

🔬 Research Studies
Data analyses, clinical or observational studies, basic science, or systematic reviews focused on musculoskeletal health and disparities.

🏙️ Community-Based Programs
Initiatives addressing musculoskeletal conditions or related health issues (heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, depression) through partnerships, culturally tailored outreach, or public health campaigns.

Movement is Life is committed to eliminating racial, ethnic, and gender disparities by promoting movement and improving health outcomes for women. Your work can help drive lasting change.
