There is something powerful about a life transformed.
Not long ago, Kurteiz was known by his past, a man who spent years incarcerated, faced indictment, and once contributed to the very challenges that plague our communities. Today, he is defined by something far greater, his purpose.

In just one year since returning home, he has hit the ground running, dedicating his life to changing the trajectory of others. He has become a mentor to young people, a protector of lives, a respected businessman, a trusted leader, a loyal friend, and, above all, a devoted father. His journey is living proof that redemption is real and that our past does not have to determine our future.

Today, we celebrate not only his birthday, but his legacy, the impact he continues to make every single day. Happy Birthday, Kurteiz! We are honored to have you as one of our strongest leaders. Your commitment, resilience, and service inspire us all.

Our team was blessed to be amongst many other CVI practitioners and experts in the work at this 3-day event. Much respect and love to all the great people in this field doing this work that is only chosen by the few.

This month, we proudly stand in recognition of Anti-Gun Violence Month, honoring the lives lost, supporting survivors, and strengthening our commitment to creating safer communities.

Gun violence impacts families, neighborhoods, and generations. Through education, intervention, mentorship, advocacy, and community engagement, we continue working toward solutions that reduce violence and provide opportunities for those most at risk.

Today, we joined community leaders, advocates, survivors, and residents in raising awareness and promoting peace. Together, we can create pathways to hope, healing, and safety.
