Join us for a buzzzzing wonderful night of literacy Monday, August 10th, 2026 from 4pm-6pm! Author Risonna Perkins will do a reading of her book, "Meet the Buzzbees" followed by an open discussion.

Scholars will participate in an interactive “Buzz Bees” activity, where they will create a fun keepsake while exploring themes of environmental stewardship, kindness, family and community care. This experience encourages curiosity about nature while connecting literacy to meaningful, real-life impact.
