A special thanks to you Senator Klinefelt for all of your hard work and advocacy in helping us realize this day. Twenty-years ago when I first joined the Eastpointe Police Department I remember the conversations concerning the need of a new police station and court and walking the halls on both sides I agreed 100%. To have had the opportunity in sharing and attending the Groundbreaking Ceremony for both was exciting and encouraging. I truly appreciate all of your support, dedication, and commitment to the city and citizens of Eastpointe. Great seeing you today.

Senator Veronica Klinefelt
Today, we broke ground on the new 38th District Court in Eastpointe. I am so proud of the partnership with the city that resulted in $9 million in state funding to make this much needed project happen.
