We’re honored to share that Average Everyday Miracles has donated handheld mirrors for every room in the NICU.

NICU baby mirrors, often used during kangaroo care, are specialized, shatterproof tools designed to help parents bond with babies by allowing them to see their infant’s face while positioned for skin-to-skin contact. These small mirrors can make such a meaningful difference during those precious moments of connection.

We hope these mirrors provide comfort, encouragement, and a little extra joy to NICU families during their journey. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and help us give back to NICU families in meaningful ways.

Happy Nurses Week to all of the incredible nurses who care for patients and families each and every day!

This week, we celebrate the compassion, dedication, and strength that nurses bring to their work every single day. We are especially grateful for the nurses who care for our tiniest patients in the NICU, providing comfort, support, and exceptional care to babies and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

We are also so thankful to the Girl Scouts for generously donating cookies to help celebrate our nurses this week! Your kindness made the week a little sweeter for so many hardworking healthcare heroes.

Happy National Volunteer Week to all of the incredible volunteers in the NICU!

Thank you to all of the volunteers who serve in the many different areas of the NICU, providing comfort, care, and support to families during their journey.

Average Everyday Miracles is made possible entirely by dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and hearts to support NICU families. We are so grateful for each person who has helped make special events possible, including the Annual NICU Reunion and Festival of Trees and Lights.
