What a night – The Iowa Golf Hall of Fame added three members in 2026, bringing the total number in the Hall of Fame to 108. Hosted by the Iowa Golf Association Foundation and Echo Valley Country Club, this was a tribute to those who’ve made a lasting impact on the game in our state.

The Class of 2026, which was inducted that evening, includes Denmar Miller (represented by Rick Brown), Ross deBuhr and Jason Knutzon.

Team Iowa is officially here🇺🇸

The IGA is excited to announce the launch of Team Iowa in alignment with the USGA’s National Development and State Team Programs. The USNDP is an initiative of the USGA to ensure that America stays competitive in golf at the highest levels. Team Iowa will support this mission at the state level by providing Team Iowa members with developmental resources and competitive opportunities.

More announcements are to come, but athletes will have the opportunity to play their way on to Team Iowa in 2027. The team will be announced in the fall of 2027 with Team Iowa programming beginning in 2028.

🏆 The IGA Senior Match Play Champions Have Been Crowned! ⛳

After weather delays and a postponement, all championship matches in the IGA Senior Match Play have officially been completed! Players coordinated their semifinal and final matches at Fort Dodge CC, and we’re excited to recognize this year’s champions. 👏

🏆 Championship Results

⛳ Men’s Senior: Joe Palmer defeated Gene Elliott, 1 up.

⛳ Men’s Super Senior: Tony Malizia defeated Todd Sapp in 20 holes.

⛳ Women’s Senior: Rose Kubesheski defeated Geri Huser in 20 holes.

Nate McCoy knows what it takes to win at Veenker—and he’ll have a chance to add another title to his résumé in the final round tomorrow. The two-time Iowa Mid-Amateur Champion sits at 1-over par, just one stroke ahead of Trent Lindenman, Grant Smith and Brian Wynia.

A former Cyclone and four-time Iowa Masters champion, McCoy has plenty of experience on this course. The stage is set for a close finish.
