Celebrating the Good Reign of Jesus for the Renewal of Our City. Trinity Church is a community convinced that Jesus Christ is a good King. He is a king who died to save us from our sins. He is a king who was raised from the dead. And he is a king who reigns now for the renewal of all things.

Whether you know Doug well or have never heard him speak, we’d love to have you join us.

This October, we’ll continue exploring the Christian foundations of the West and the ideas that have shaped—and contributed to the maiming of—Western culture.

Last month we took a look at Plato and Aristotle and the soil of Western Philosophy in which the Gospel took root. This month we look at their successors in the church: Augustine and Aquinas.

If Plato gave us the framework for a transcendent universe and a source for all of our longing- Augustine names that source and points us both to God and the heavenly city. Aristotle gave us a creation marked by design and purpose, Aquinas names the Unmoved Mover and how all of that order is designed to glorify Him.

Join us Wednesday evening, October 14, for lecture, discussion, dessert, and drinks. We’d love for you to join us and bring a friend or two!

More details are in CCB.

We are hosting our Fall Membership Info meeting right after the service in the sanctuary.

We'll have an after church snack and discuss the hows and whys of life and worship at Trinity.

This meeting is especially suited for those who have visited Trinity and want to find out more about what church membership means and why on earth we do *that* on a Sunday but we will also welcome anyone who wants a refresher or those of you who have been coming for a while and want to pursue membership (in other words, the more the merrier!). You'll hear about parishes, eldership, what we believe and what we think God is up to in our city and with our church, along with the opportunity to meet others around Trinity.

If you plan to come, RSVPs in CCB are helpful as we plan for food and children (but not required).

How do we build fruitful families, courageous churches, faithful schools, thriving businesses, and Christian communities that actually shape the places where we live? That’s what we’ll be thinking about with Doug and Nancy Wilson on Saturday, October 24th at Trinity Church Denver.

Why invite Doug Wilson to Denver?

Because few living ministers have spent more time thinking about what it means to build Christian institutions and communities for the long haul. Churches. Schools. A college. A publishing house. Businesses. Families. A community of Christians shaping the life of their city.

Join us on Saturday, October 24th as Doug and Nancy help us think about how we can pursue that same faithfulness right here in Denver.
