Colorado Ballet is honored to return to the Vail Dance Festival for the 2026 season! 🏔️🩰

Join us on August 3rd for "State of Grace" at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. The performance celebrates generations of choreographic brilliance, featuring extraordinary artists from American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and more of the world’s great companies.

The night culminates in a breathtaking collaboration: Colorado Ballet will perform George Balanchine’s magnificent "Serenade" alongside Vail Dance Festival principals. Tchaikovsky’s iconic score will be performed live by the National Repertory Orchestra, conducted by Michael Stern. 🎻✨

The beautiful dancers of our Be Beautiful, Be Yourself (BBBY) program absolutely shined in their spring showcase! This performance was the culmination of a semester of hard work, dedication, and passion at Colorado Ballet. From music and dance to spoken word, these students brought their all and had an absolute blast on stage. 🩰🎶

This incredible program wouldn't be what it is today without our amazing Teaching Artists and our partners at Global Down Syndrome Foundation. We are endlessly proud of these dancers, and deeply grateful to the Global Down Syndrome Foundation for their continued support of this program. 💙

We are thrilled to present the Colorado premiere of John Cranko’s world-renowned "Romeo and Juliet." From high-octane sword fights to breathtaking pas de deux, this production brings the tragedy to life with grand theatricality and fresh choreography. Experience the ecstasy of young love paired with Prokofiev’s iconic score, performed live by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra.

To the moon and back! 🚀🪐 We’re celebrating 21 years of partnership with Warren Village Learning Center!

This semester, these rockstar preschool students explored outer space in our studios every Tuesday morning, blasting through galaxy obstacle courses and using the planets to learn about rhythm. 🥁✨

They wrapped up the season by donning their space suits and performing a showcase for friends and family! 🌌Astronomical thanks to for over two decades of magic, and to PNC Foundation for their generous support of this program!

We are thrilled to welcome back Jiří Kylián’s “Sinfonietta” as part of our 2026/27 MASTERWORKS program!

Widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest contemporary dance choreographers, Kylián infuses “Sinfonietta” with a radiant vitality. The production seamlessly pairs composer Leoš Janáček’s exuberant score with choreography that serves as a profound celebration of life and movement.
