Last night we were fortunate to participate in a thought-provoking discussion about what it means to be a woman artist. Our gratitude goes to Anne Emmons and Rebecca Gabriel for their enlightening comments. Afterwards, live cello music and dance performances inspired by the artwork added to the evening’s magic. We are deeply grateful to the Lakewood Cultural Center for hosting such a captivating event.

The Colorado Caucus invites our caucus sisters to apply to this open call.

What woman doesn’t handle multiple roles and tasks simultaneously, especially during the holidays? Now’s the time to express this through your art!

In the world of multitasking, pivoting, gig-working, and shape-shifting, women are inclined to think about life and work quite differently. We think this is worth exploring through our art.

WCA Colorado chapter invites women and women-identifying artists nationwide to submit their creative response to a national call for entry for the exhibit, Com-Part-Mental-Ize.

Express how you manage and navigate time, energy, thoughts, space, and more in your artwork.

We are accepting 2-D, 3-D, and video. Enter 3 pieces for $40.00. WCA and CHAC member fee is 25.00. The exhibit is hosted in a gorgeous gallery at the Lakewood Cultural Center in Lakewood, CO.

See callforentry.org and search on Com-part-mental-ize to get all the details.
