Haven of Hope- Jay Gould Center is a non-profit organization founded in October 2007. Since its’ opening, Haven of Hope has supported the underserved populations of Denver by providing various services in an encouraging and optimistic environment. Overall, we serve hundreds of guests per day, working in two sessions from 7:00 AM-10:30 AM, and 11:00 AM-1 PM. During these sessions, guests are provid

ed with freshly prepared hot meals, as well as rotating services such as a medical clinic, Medicaid and Food Stamps assistance, and clothing distribution. We are able to provide 60-80 showers per day to our guests, as well as daily laundry services and the distribution of basic hygienic materials. As previously mentioned, Haven of Hope is a non-profit organization, meaning that we rely primarily on donations from the community. For example, food, clothing, and hygiene products are all donated. Our dedicated volunteers, some of whom have been with Haven of Hope for many years, do various tasks throughout the facility including serving our guests meals, assisting with routine custodial work, and lending a hand in our donation area. Haven of Hope welcomes every guest and volunteer with respect and dignity, as well as a familiar and comforting face. We are here to serve, not to judge; and will continue to do so as long as the community of Denver needs it. For more information about Haven of Hope, please visit our website!
