Our Opening Act is Tony Meade. Born and raised in the hills of West Virginia, Tony Meade has been making music in Denver for over 20 years. He combines the melodicism of classic British rock ’n’ roll and modern Americana to create a timeless power pop sound.
Tony has released three solo albums, four EPs, and multiple singles since 2010. His Christmas album, WASSAIL, and his singles “It’s Alright” and “A Walk In The Sun” have been featured by Denver Westword as among the best local releases. A producer and engineer as well, he has recorded several projects for other Denver artists.
Tony is currently working on a new full-length album. His latest EP, TIME TAKES ITS TOLL, was released in August 2026.
Our Featured Poet is Avi Blue. Avi Blue (they/them) is a two-spirit Miccosukee poet from Compton, CA (Tongva territories) who has called Denver (Cheyenne and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ territories) home for 5 years. They hope to translate some of the griefs of survival within civil society through their own poetics and lived experience. Eclectic poetry, usually about them, always with a perspective.
Come and share what makes your voice sacred!
