The Kiwanis Club of Pensacola has provided hands-on community service activities each month to local non-profit organizations. Kiwanis Club of Pensacola is a volunteer group of women and men who are dedicated to the needs of children and young adults on a local, national, and international scale. Kiwanis Objects

The six permanent Objects of Kiwanis International were approved by Kiwanis club del

egates at the 1924 International Convention in Denver, Colorado. Through the decades, they have remained unchanged.

- To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
- To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
- To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.
- To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
- To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.
- To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.

I had the honor of attending the District Leadership Conference for the Florida Key Club district, accompanied by our Secretary, Jack Gander, and students from West Florida High School, Pensacola High School, and Gulf Breeze High School, as well as over 1000 students from across the state. The students had a valuable experience, learning new skills, making new connections, and receiving awards for their clubs. A highlight of the event was awarding two scholarships from our Pensacola Kiwanis Club to two local Key Club members at the Governors Banquet. Myles McArthur (WFHS) was awarded the $2000 Mr. Jack Gander scholarship, and Sara Tanveer (PHS) was awarded the Ellie Gander $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to these outstanding leaders.
