Recently, a remarkable opportunity unfolded as community leaders engaged with local educators through the Principal for a Day program.

CF/UWVFC was represented by Community Investments Senior Manager Cary Quinones.
"I came away with an even greater appreciation for everything that goes into leading a school and supporting students, staff, and parents!"

This initiative allows participants to gain invaluable insights into the complexities of school leadership and the commitment required to support students, staff, and families effectively.

Such experiences deepen our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our educators.

Let's continue to strengthen our community connections and support local education initiatives.

Great Things are happening every day!

Root Company, Root Family Foundation, and the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties (CF/UWVFC) announce the establishment of the Root Company Community Fund, a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) that channels corporate philanthropy directly toward the region's most critical needs while giving Root employees a voice in which local charities the fund supports.

Thank you for this generous and thoughtful contribution.

Fast Fact: The next time you see a Coca Cola bottle- keep in mind that the world-famous trademark was created in 1915 at Root Glass Company. Awesome!

What local causes would you like your legacy to support?
This National Estate Planning Awareness Week, consider including a charitable gift in your will. A specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a gift remaining after loved ones are provided for can help continue the work you care about in Volusia and Flagler Counties.
