We are proud of Jessica for representing HMGBF and speaking about the impact of Home Visiting on children and families in our community. Having served as a Home Visitor and now as a Supervisor, she brings a deep understanding of the importance of meeting families where they are and supporting them as they build on their strengths. Jessica's leadership reflects what we see every day: when families have the right support, children thrive, parents gain confidence, and communities grow stronger.

October is SIDS Awareness Month

This month, we honor the families affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and work together to promote safe sleep practices for infants.
Every action we take—sharing resources, spreading awareness, and supporting caregivers—helps make a difference.

The Foodbank's Urban Garden is hosting a weekend volunteering project in partnership with ServeOhio for Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 24th from 10am-2pm.

This special project takes place at our senior wellness walk area and includes planting numerous medicinal native plants, laying landscaping fabric, and adding fresh compost.

Earlier this month, we opened our doors to community partners for a special look at Help Me Grow Brighter Futures! 🌱

We highlighted our programs and services, shared more about the work of a home visitor, and created space for our partners to connect with the people and programs behind the work.

It was a great afternoon filled with energy, meaningful conversations, and new connections. We left feeling energized and even more excited to keep sharing who we are, what we do, and how we support families across our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our Open House such a great success! 💛
