Granting Special Wishes to local children in the Dayton & Cincinnati, OH areas. The mission of A Special Wish Foundation, Inc.

is to grant the wish of a child or adolescent (birth through age 20) who has been diagnosed by a physician with a life-threatening disorder. Since 1983, the Dayton Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation, Inc. has granted over 1,750 wishes to children living in the Dayton Region. We are thankful to the many Dayton area companies, organizations, individuals and volunteers for their generous donations and support. As of January 2022, we now serve Southwest Ohio which includes Mercer, Auglaize, Shleby, Darke, Miami, Champaign, Clark, Preble, Montgomery, Greene, Butler, Warren, Clinton, Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Highland, Adams, Scioto, and Pike counties.

Saturday was all about Brooky! 💖

We had the honor of granting her Special Wish for a Sweet 16 party, bringing the celebration to the 8th-floor lobby at Dayton Children's Hospital. We loved helping make this milestone birthday special for Brooky and her family!

Thank you to our friends at Primrose School on Yankee and Primrose School of Centerville for hosting their annual lemonade stand fundraiser! Ariyah's Special Wish comes true next month thanks to their continued support of granting local Special Wishes!

Yesterday we had the honor of presenting A Special Wish Foundation - Dayton & Southwest Ohio Chapter with a $5,000 donation raised through our Lemonade Stand Fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who supported this meaningful cause, your generosity is helping make Ariyah’s wish come true!

A dream come true for Special Wish Kid Isla! 💜🐱

10-year-old Isla’s Special Wish was to meet her favorite YouTuber and Minecraft creator, Aphmau!

Isla and her family traveled to Texas for an unforgettable experience with Aphmau (Jessica Bravura). They spent time playing games at an arcade before heading back to play Minecraft together! Along the way, Isla was showered with gifts, surprises, and plenty of special moments.

As Isla’s mom shared, “It was a much-needed break from our reality. It gave Isla and her siblings something to continue to talk about, and for us as parents, it was a completely unburdened chance to just enjoy our children and our family together.”

A huge thank you to Aphmau and her incredible team for going above and beyond to make Isla’s wish so special!

JeNyla’s Special Wish brought plenty of magic, smiles and unforgettable memories! ✨🏰

JeNyla and her family recently traveled to Central Florida, where they stayed at Give Kids The World and spent their days exploring the theme parks, meeting some of her favorite characters and enjoying a week together as a family. ❤️

More than $200,000 raised for local wishes! 💙

With this year’s donation, Trans Am Nationals has officially crossed the $200,000 mark in support of A Special Wish Foundation. That total represents years of generosity and a lasting commitment to local wish children and their families.

With 572 cars registered, this year’s event was also their largest yet! Wish Kid Owen joined the fun and had an important job of his own, choosing his favorite car to receive the Special Wish Award. 🏆

Congratulations to the Trans Am Nationals team on another fantastic event and this incredible milestone! Thank you to the organizers, participants, and supporters for continuing this tradition of making local wishes come true year after year. ✨
