Our final Lunch and Learn for 2026 was presented by Becky Cobb, founder and owner of Personally Fit in Moraine.

Becky shared many great tips on creating healthy habits to support successful aging, focusing on three key pillars:

1. Eat ( a lot of vegetables!)
2. Move
3. Rest

Thank you for joining us, and we look forward to seeing you in 2027 for more wonderful Lunch and Learn sessions!

Small acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference for a neighbor. 💛

Food insecurity does not always look the way we expect. It can affect working families, older adults, children, and neighbors facing an unexpected expense or difficult season. When household budgets are stretched, a well-stocked community food pantry can provide both practical help and hope.

At Belmont Church, our faith calls us to care for our neighbors in practical ways. Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.” Matthew 25:35

We are deeply thankful for the support of our community and grateful for the dedicated volunteers who serve as the hands and feet of Jesus through Belmont Food Pantry.

Whether you are part of a church or simply want to help your community, you can make a difference. Our three greatest needs right now are:

🥫 Soup
🧂 Crackers
🍇 Jelly

Donations may be dropped off at Belmont Church. Each item helps a neighbor facing food insecurity and reminds them that their community cares.

The Belmont Food Pantry is open the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 11:45am (including tomorrow, Saturday, September 26).

Please join us for a time of fun, fellowship, and food in the prayer garden on September 11th at 6:00 PM.

We will be serving hot dogs, chips, and cookies. Please bring your own drinks, as well as lawn chairs if you would like (we will have some seats available to use).

We would love to see you come out dressed in red, white, and blue in of this day.
