AIM for the Handicapped, Inc. Our Mission: To help individuals reach their highest potential through The AIM Method of Specialized Movement Education.

During an AIM class the student in encouraged to perform simple rhythmical exercises involving the fine and gross motor muscles. The repetition and sequential movements teach timing and concentration, which will improve all areas of learning: speaking, reading, writing and retention. Self-esteem and confidence will also be enhanced. As individuals successes increase so does their motivation for more movement. This success will overflow into other areas of their lives.

Today is National Peach Day!
To make each AIM session unique and engaging for our kids, our AIM teachers love using the squishy fruit! We use them as visual cues to help identify directions more easily. We also use them as eye-tracking tools to help with head and neck movements.
These wonderful gifts and donations that you all provide to our AIM kids truly make a difference and help each child reach their highest potential. This would not be possible without you.

Volunteer Spotlight: Miss Trinity!
Always hands-on and ready to jump in, Trinity helps kids with movements, grabs whatever the AIM Teacher needs, and brings quick thinking and creativity to the AIM Method. The kids absolutely loved having her around, and we’re so grateful for the energy and care she brought to our summer program. Thank you, Trinity! You are amazing!
