Richard Montgomery chapter members and some of their "Camp Followers" assist the Hayner Cultural Center with their Boo-Bash America-250 event. Steve and Patty Kaplan show off the artifacts from the "Patriot's Chest" while Rob and Ruth Pruitt with Lee Emrick oversee the Boston Tea Party where children throw tea-bags overboard. Over 250 people visited the event.

Congratulations to Ruth Pruitt for being awarded a "Sarah Fulton" medal. This is awarded for 3 years of wearing a colonial outfit while accompanying a SAR color guard at public events. Shown here with Ohio SAR President Doug Pettit and her husband, Rob Pruitt.

At the Ohio Board of Management meeting, the Richard Montgomery Chapter was also honored for first place in the Early Ohio Pioneer fundraising challenge which supports the National Congress coming to Ohio in 2028. Chapter Lee Emrick accepts the winning ribbon.

President Lee Emrick presents a Certificate of Appreciation to Amber Collins and Tasha Rosengarten of EverHeart Hospice for their informative program. He also inducted Richard Montgomery Chapter's newest member, Zachary Holler.

Richard Montgomery Chapter members Darold Neff and Steve Kaplan assisted the Miami County Local History and Genealogical Center with their evening Cemetery Walk of Staunton Cemetery. They portrayed two deceased Revolutionary War soldiers buried in the cemetery. The event was well attended by the public.

Eight Richard Montgomery Chapter members helped 100+ Cub Scouts of Pack 68 earn their "Liberty in Action" badge. The SAR manned 3 of the 5 America-250 stations that the scouts rotated through: Patriot's Chest, Field Music. and Declaration Mural. Compatriot Michael Dunn commanded the pack and organized the event.
