Tonight was a wonderful evening of fellowship during our annual John W. Durst chili cookoff and awards! Congratulations to 1st place Bro. Joey Bovee, 2nd place WB. John Milo, and 3rd place Bro. Curtis Hensley. And congratulations to all the other brethren for their awards (Zerubbabel award, yrs of service, craft aprons, and endowments).

The Blue Council at The Dayton Masonic Center deemed John W. Durst John W. Durst lodge #716 F&AM as having the best display at last years open house. Can't wait to see what this April brings.

Following a closed-door meeting in Milan, Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmiero reportedly said he believed ‘an evolution in mutual understanding’ had taken place between masonry and the Church over the past 50 years.

Seating is still available for the Super 8th Masonic District Grand Master Reception honoring MWB Paul A. Weglage, Grand Master of Masons in Ohio. The reception will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Roberts Centre just north of Wilmington, Ohio with registration starting at 5:00 p.m.! Tickets are $ 40.00 and dinner is a buffet! Pay at the door. There will also be a hospitality room after to meet and talk with MWB Weglage and all the other Grande Lodge Officers. RSVP by February 26, 2024 at www.super8th.org
