We just recently completed a bible study that I wrote based on the difference in living earthly verses eternal focused. Eternally focused summed up, is walking closely daily in the lives of those you are called to serve. This morning, I had several tasks that I really needed to get to, but instead I was blessed to disciple and encourage three of our moms in our ministry separately through calls and text. This is often my norm. Investment and sacrificial discipleship and friendship doesn’t have a time constraint, it’s not always convenient, but ends in a blessing of time well spent. Ministering to others can be draining, often thankless and many days left feeling discouraged. People are needy and messy, yet the beauty in transformation of Christ’s likeness is beyond what I could describe with words. Last evening, one of my sweet mommas in our ministry left these beautiful flowers at my door with a heart filled note that said:
“I asked myself what do you get
someone who has pretty much everything she could need, doesnt like clutter and doesnt eat sweets. Well, this woman in question is as sweet, radiant, grace filled, and as poised as a flower.
The pink resembles all you do for the
women around you, showing love endlessly and selflessly. A true defintion of the embodiment of Christ. Christ moving in you as a vessel for His Glory. Thank you for being who He called you to be.”
Hoping this encourages all who sees and reads this in how blessed we are to be able to serve others as Jesus did humbly. He came to serve, not to be served. Merry Christmas from all of us here at Magnolia House Ministries!
