Many thanks to all who attended Rho Iota’s 26th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast on Monday, January 19th, 2026. Many thanks to GW High School for allowing us to host the event, to all the Divine 9 and Community Orgs for coming out, the Honorees abf their families, to everyone who attended, and to the Bruhz for putting it all together.

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, Rho Iota participated in a Thanksgiving food box giveaway at Moral Hill Baptist Church in Axton, VA.

Bruhz made donations to the church to purchase food boxes and also handed food boxes out to the public. RQQ to the good Bruhz making sure families have a good Thanksgiving!

For Acheivement Week, Rho Iota hosted its annual Basketball & Mentorship camp at George Washington High School. We would like to thank the coaches who volunteered their time, the Bruhz who spoke to the kids, and most importantly the kids who participated.

Rho Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi 26th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 9am - 12pm, at George Washington High School’s Gym: 280 Christopher Lane, Danville, VA 24541.

This year’s theme is honoring athletes. Guest speaker will be Rho Iota’s own, Bro. Maurice Ferrell, pastor of Vance Street Missionary Baptist Church. We will honor several notable local figures in the field of athletics.

Tickets are $35, tables are $280 (a group ticket that includes 8 tickets)

Rho Iota annually awards five (5) $500 scholarships to high school seniors looking to attend college.

Below is the application, open to high school seniors in Danville, Halifax Co., Pittsylvania Co., Rockingham Co., Caswell Co., and all surrounding areas.
