Dear friends and fans of EXSSA USA. Our Book Club kicks off at 8 p.m. EST tonight! We’re thrilled to celebrate Imbolo Mbue, one of our own and a writer with extraordinary international recognition. Despite her success, Imbolo remains actively involved in our association and committed to supporting our sisters.
Many book clubs across the United States are currently reading this book, and we are delighted to be among them. We believe our book club will hold a special place in Imbolo’s heart because this one is initiated by her own sisters, her Saker sisters! ❤️
Tonight, we’ll decide how often to meet and how to read together as we explore themes of grief, trauma, guilt, and forgiveness. While Ms. Lira Atanga and I are taking the lead as facilitators, we plan to have multiple facilitators as we go along. Anyone who wishes to lead a chapter discussion will have the opportunity to do so. This is a shared literary journey, and everyone has something to contribute. *Exam no dey!* 🥰 Just an enjoyable, enriching reading experience.
