Leukemia Texas Helping Texans Beat Leukemia through Patient Aid, Research, and Innovation. The program currently serves over 300 children and adults each year.

Leukemia Texas is an independent nonprofit corporation dedicated to fighting the life threatening blood cancer of leukemia through the funding of leukemia research and patient aid in Texas. It is the only organization of its kind that generates revenue in Texas, and stays in Texas! Through its Patient Aid program, LeukemiaTexas provides financial assistance to leukemia patients needing help with t

heir necessary treatment expenses. The LeukemiaTexas Research program awards grants for research to develop new and improved methods of treatment and which may ultimately lead to a cure for leukemia.

Designed to bring our work to life in a tangible, meaningful way, these stations offer guests the opportunity to directly support Texans facing leukemia in the moments it matters most.
Buddy Boxes - Bringing moments of joy to kids in treatment.
Guests can help assemble Buddy Boxes—comfort kits filled with both fun and practical items—that will be delivered to patients at Cook Children’s in Fort Worth. It’s a simple but meaningful way to bring a moment of care and connection to someone in treatment.

Buddy Bear Adoption - A hug they can hold onto.
Guests can “adopt” a Buddy Bear in honor of a child battling leukemia. Each bear will carry a personal message of encouragement written by you—words that will be shared with a young patient who needs it most.

Tree of Hope - Choose a need. Change a life.
A visual reminder of the real, everyday needs our patients face. Ball guests can select an area to support—like transportation to treatment, medical bills, groceries, or rent. Each act of generosity is added to the Tree of Hope, creating a powerful display of collective impact throughout the evening.
