Plastics Pipe Institute The Plastics Pipe Institute Inc. Plastic pipe systems are a sustainable and environmentally responsible choice that will serve generations to come.

(PPI) is the major trade association representing all segments of the plastic pipe industry and is dedicated to promoting plastics as the material of choice for pipe applications. They are energy efficient during manufacturing and provide peak protection from contamination during service. Strong, durable, light-weight and flexible, these piping systems require significantly less energy to fabricat

e, transport and install than metal or concrete alternatives. With superior resistance to corrosion and abrasion, plastic piping systems also supply long service life, excellent joint performance and offer leak free protection-all adding up to exceptional value.

• Matthew Guinan
• Tanya Kanczuzewski
• Matthew Wells
• Kelsie Renzello
• Sam Erekson

Too often, great conduit projects are completed without their stories ever being shared. Project of the Year submissions help showcase how conduit is solving real-world infrastructure challenges and enabling broadband expansion, transportation systems, utility networks, data centers, and many other critical applications.

By documenting these projects, our members help demonstrate the versatility, performance, and long-term value of HDPE conduit while providing examples that can inspire future infrastructure investments.

If your organization has participated in an innovative or impactful project, please consider submitting it for a future PPI Power & Communications Division Project of the Year competition. Your next project could help educate the industry and highlight another innovative use of plastic conduit in modern infrastructure.
