Honoring fathers, father figures, and the impact they make every day. 💙

This Father’s Day, the T.O.R.I. Program at the T.D. Jakes Foundation brought together community leaders, families, and participants for a day of connection, empowerment, and practical financial education.

From learning how to build a budget, distinguish needs from wants, and create family financial goals, to networking with workforce development professionals and community partners, attendees gained valuable tools to help strengthen their future.

Today, we celebrate the life, leadership, and extraordinary legacy of our Chairman, Bishop T.D. Jakes. 🎉

For decades, Chairman has inspired millions around the world through his unwavering commitment to faith, service, and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive. His vision has helped countless individuals discover purpose, overcome obstacles, and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

As we expand our impact into Augusta for the very first time, we're already seeing what's possible when students are given the opportunity to learn, create, and lead.

This week, students tackled real-world challenges, worked together to develop solutions, and confidently shared their ideas with others. But the most meaningful part wasn't just what they built, it was watching their confidence grow with every challenge they took on.

Every new community we serve is another opportunity to help young people discover their potential, and Augusta has already shown us so much promise.
If this first week was any indication, the future is incredibly bright. ✨

Something special is happening in Augusta. 💡

This week, students didn't just learn about STEAM, they became engineers, designers & problem-solvers. They took sneakers apart to understand how they're made. They identified real challenges impacting communities. They brainstormed solutions, built prototypes, tested their ideas, and stood in front of community leaders to confidently pitch their vision for change.

That's the power of this program. We're not here in Augusta just to teach science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. We're here to help students see what's possible for themselves. We're here to spark curiosity, build confidence, and show young people that their ideas matter.

As we expand into Augusta, we're creating opportunities for more students to dream bigger, think differently, and develop the skills they'll carry long after this week is over.

Because when you invest in young people, you're investing in the future of an entire community.
