Something special is happening in Augusta. đź’ˇ

This week, students didn't just learn about STEAM, they became engineers, designers & problem-solvers. They took sneakers apart to understand how they're made. They identified real challenges impacting communities. They brainstormed solutions, built prototypes, tested their ideas, and stood in front of community leaders to confidently pitch their vision for change.

That's the power of this program. We're not here in Augusta just to teach science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. We're here to help students see what's possible for themselves. We're here to spark curiosity, build confidence, and show young people that their ideas matter.

As we expand into Augusta, we're creating opportunities for more students to dream bigger, think differently, and develop the skills they'll carry long after this week is over.

Because when you invest in young people, you're investing in the future of an entire community.

And Augusta's future is bright. ✨

The strongest talent pipelines aren't built by chance, they're built by intention.

That intention was on full display at today's Dallas Regional Chamber Opportunity Summit, where our own Eric Davis, Program Manager of T.O.R.I (Thriving Opportunity of Returning Individuals), spoke on "Building a Stronger Talent Pipeline for the Dallas Region."

Closing that gap is some of the most important work we can do, not just for the individuals we serve, but for the long-term health of our regional economy. Through T.O.R.I, we're helping people gain meaningful employment and take real, lasting steps toward career success, while strengthening the workforce pathways that keep Dallas thriving.

But this work was never meant to be done alone. Lasting impact happens when organizations, employers, and community leaders move together with shared purpose. If you're committed to connecting people to opportunity and building a stronger future for our region, we want to partner with you.

The pipeline gets stronger when we build it together. Let's get to work.

If you believe in making an impact, thank you. đź’™

The work doesn't happen because of one person or one organization. It happens because people care enough to show up, give back, and invest in the lives of others.

Every opportunity created, every door opened, and every life changed starts with a community that believes people deserve a chance to move forward.

No family should have to choose between stability and survival.

Through the T.O.R.I. (Thriving Opportunities for Returning Individuals) reentry program, we support individuals and families rebuilding their lives after incarceration by removing barriers and creating pathways to opportunity.

Our TORI Food Distribution in collaboration with the Chris Howell Foundation is one more way we show up with care, dignity, and immediate support for the communities we serve.

Your support helps fund program initiatives like this and strengthens the wraparound services that make transformation possible. Join us in making an impact at tdjfoundation.org

Food insecurity continues to impact families across our communities, making access to nutritious meals a daily challenge for far too many individuals.

Today in Dallas, we partnered with the Chris Howell Foundation to serve participants in the Thriving Opportunities for Returning Individuals - TORI program with food boxes designed to help ease that burden and provide meaningful support during their reentry journey.

During our time in Ghana, the T.D. Jakes Foundation and Grace Compassion Foundation had the opportunity to visit Royal Seed Home and spend meaningful time with the children and staff. Alongside moments of connection and fellowship, the team donated supplies, food, toys, and other items to support the home’s ongoing work and the young people they serve.

The Foundation is also proud to support the completion of the organization’s multi-purpose auditorium, which will help create additional space for learning, programming, and community engagement.

Visits like these are a powerful reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and investing in the next generation. We are grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to support organizations creating meaningful impact every day.

Reflecting on another impactful day of stakeholder meetings in Ghana. Guided by the T.D. Jakes Foundation’s pillar of Educational Access & Workforce Readiness, the team met with Chancellor Mensa Otabil to discuss the importance of workforce readiness and creating pathways that help individuals access greater opportunities for long-term success.

The team also visited L’aine HR for meaningful conversations around workforce readiness, career pathways, and innovative strategies that help equip individuals with the tools, training, and support needed to thrive in sustainable careers.

As workforce needs continue to evolve globally, conversations like these reinforce the importance of collaboration, innovation, and intentional investment in people.

Building connections across communities. During our time in , members of the T.D. Jakes Foundation team and Grace Compassion Foundation had the opportunity to worship and connect with a local church community. President and CEO Kelley F. Cornish shared TDJF’s mission and our commitment to creating pathways that help individuals and communities thrive.

Moments like these remind us that impact knows no borders. When we come together, we create opportunities that can transform lives for generations to come.
