Over the past three years, the Rising Star Education Foundation has remained steadfast in its commitment to empowering youth and investing in the future of our communities. What began as a vision to create opportunities for young scholars has grown into a meaningful movement that continues to inspire, educate, and transform lives.

Our mission is simple yet powerful:

To ensure that young scholars have access to educational opportunities that prepare them for lifelong success.

Through the dedication of our board members, volunteers, community partners, sponsors, and supporters, we have proudly:

🎓 Awarded scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors as they pursue higher education.
📚 Hosted impactful seminars and workshops that promote leadership, personal growth, and positive relationship building.
⭐ Implemented programs and activities that encourage talented students to remain focused on their educational goals.

As I step down from the presidency of Rising Star Education Foundation (RSEF), my heart is full of gratitude. You entrusted me with the privilege of leading this foundation from its earliest ideas to its first major successes. That trust and your steadfast supportmade it possible for us to build something meaningful, lasting, and deeply needed in our community.

The accomplishments we celebrate today are not mine alone; they are the result of collective vision, shared labor, and your belief in what RSEF could become. I am honored to have served alongside such dedicated leaders.

Youth Empowered to Succeed Summit:
A Meaningful Conclusion and a Bright Beginning

The Rising Star Education Foundation’s (RSEF) Youth Empowered to Succeed Summit was an incredible success! This inspiring event brought together students, families, community leaders, and supporters for a day dedicated to empowering our youth with the knowledge, motivation, and resources they need to succeed.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and helped make this event so impactful. A special thank you to ExxonMobil and Chick-fil-A for their generous support and commitment to investing in the future of our young people.

We are also deeply grateful to our outstanding guest speakers Chris Butler, Kendria Russell, and Erica Courtenay-Mann. for sharing their wisdom, experiences, and encouragement. Your messages inspired our students to dream bigger, work harder, and confidently pursue their goals.

A special thank you to Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Leslie Briones and her representative for honoring the Rising Star Education Foundation with a special recognition. We are truly grateful for your support and for recognizing the impact of our mission to empower youth through education and community engagement.
