🎉 What an incredible Open House! 🎉

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the families who came out to our Annual Open House! We loved meeting new homeschooling families, reconnecting with familiar faces, and sharing everything CHA has to offer.

A huge thank you to our amazing Homeschool Resource Partners who hosted tables throughout the event. Your time, enthusiasm, and commitment to serving homeschool families helped make the evening a tremendous success. We are grateful for each of you and the valuable resources you bring to our community.

And we have to give a very special shout-out to FINS Swim School! When the venue's air conditioning unexpectedly stopped working, they unknowingly came to the rescue with promotional hand fans. They quickly became the hottest item at the event (pun intended! 😄). Thank you for helping to keep everyone a little cooler. You truly saved the day!

To everyone who attended, thank you for making this year's Open House such a memorable event. We can't wait to see everyone throughout the upcoming year as we continue building a strong, connected homeschool community.

Cypress Homeschool Association is still accepting vendor applications for our Annual Open House!

Each year, our Open House brings together current homeschooling families and those who are exploring homeschooling for the first time. We're looking for businesses, organizations, and service providers that support the homeschool community to join us by hosting an informational table.

This is a wonderful opportunity to:

🎉 Membership for the 2026-2027 CHA Year is NOW OPEN! 🎉

We are excited to welcome both returning and new homeschooling families to the Cypress Homeschool Association (CHA)!

For over 18 years, CHA has provided opportunities for homeschool families to connect through park days, field trips, holiday celebrations, co-op classes, scouting programs, special events, graduation, and much more. Whether you're new to homeschooling or have been homeschooling for years, we'd love for your family to join our community.

📚 HMNS Science Classes Registration is Also Open!
Our popular Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) homeschool science classes are now accepting registrations. These hands-on classes fill quickly, so be sure to reserve your spots early.

Update: We only have a few spots left that we are keeping for CHA families.
Cypress Homeschool Association has few Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) spots available for grade 3-5. Classes are monthly on a Friday from Sep through May of 1 hour duration at 1:00 pm. Cost is $78/year for 9 classes. Registering for class also gives admission to Museum for student and 1 parent/student on day of class. Description of class and dates are attached. You do not need to be a part of the homeschool group to attend HMNS class.
