The Braves are in the postseason, and we know some of our community association professionals may be staying up a little past their bedtime tonight!

So, managers, business partners, homeowner leaders, and especially their bosses, please plan accordingly tomorrow morning.

A huge thank you to Deputy Sheriff Chris Shurley for spending the day with CAI-Georgia and sharing real-life, practical information on active shooter preparedness, personal safety, and keeping our communities safe.

There were so many moments today that made us stop, think, and look at safety a little differently. We walked away more aware, more prepared, and with information we can actually use in our everyday lives and the communities we serve.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our Education Committee for putting together another impactful CAI-Georgia education program! 💙

Every September 11, we find ourselves thinking about what really matters.

We remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives changed forever, and the courage of so many who ran toward danger to help others.

But we also think about what happened in the days that followed. How people reached for one another. Neighbors checked on neighbors. Strangers became friends. Differences seemed smaller, and simply being there for one another mattered more.

There’s something in that worth holding onto.

Life moves quickly, and it’s easy to get caught up in everything that divides us. But at the end of the day, the people around us, our neighbors, our friends, our families, our community are what matter.

Today, we hope we remember not only what we lost, but the way we came together.

May we carry a little more of that with us every day.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
