Recently, the Georgia Association of Senior Centers (GASC) selected Age Well Forsyth as the recipient of their 2026 GASC Senior Center Champion Award!

The Senior Center Champion Award recognizes an outstanding community partner that has significantly strengthened a senior center and enhanced the lives of the older adults it serves.

DON'T MISS this year’s Haunted History Tour at the Cu***ng Cemetery, celebrating 250 years of our nation with special focus on the ghosts of area veterans telling you their stories! This collaboration between the Historical Society of Cu***ng/Forsyth County and Age Well Forsyth is only $20 for an approximately 45-minute walking tour. Dates are October 23 and 24, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:45pm, with tours departing every 15 minutes. Pay at the gate with cash, credit card, or check. Part of our board attended the August 19 Cu***ng City Council meeting to speak in favor of a resolution to allow St. Vincent De Paul of Georgia to apply for an initial grant to help fund their proposal for a 12-acre supportive housing community in Cu***ng. Designed for adults experiencing housing insecurity, especially Veterans and seniors, the project would provide more than a safe, affordable place to live; it would provide stability, belonging, and a path forward. The meeting was a full house and many spoke in favor, including Cindy Mills (former commissioner) and our Board president Joan Welty. The resolution passed unanimously, so watch for more information as the project progresses!

Big shout out to http://www.thetenthroof.com/ for helping us with a recent request to repair an old stovepipe that was getting dangerous. Help like this stretches our grant dollars further so we can help more seniors!
