If you are, or know of, a senior or senior group who might need help with small home repairs, accessibility improvements, yard work or other assistance, application for our 3rd quarter Small Grant program is open; deadline for submission is September 15. Our program awards grant(s) up to a total of $2,000 quarterly from among applicants. For more information and to download the application, go to http://www.agewellforsyth.com/grants.html
Examples of past grants are roof and siding repair, HVAC work, plumbing repair, window replacement, ramp construction, tree cutting and other yard work, even durable medical equipment.

Light refreshments will be served. International trips for next year include Egypt; Great Britain, Ireland, & Scotland; Switzerland, Austria & Bavaria; and the Quebec & Montreal Christmas Markets. Service Spotlight! Forsyth County's Senior Services offers a Congregate program that provides a daily meal and social activities, at both Central Park and Sexton Hall; and is open to Forsyth County residents age 60 and better.
