Be Seen Ministries empowers women through Christ-centered mentoring.

Serving women ages 21+ in North Fulton, Forsyth, and Cherokee Counties, we help women discover their identity in Christ and grow in a personal relationship with God.

When your mentor hits send….you exhale! 💕 You feel seen, heard, loved. You know you have someone in your corner who is praying, and pointing you back to the One who who is all knowing, wise beyond comprehension, and faithful to complete his good work in you.

It never ceases to amaze me how the Spirit of God makes us feel fully alive in His presence when we least expect it.

The feeling of his presence pops into our everyday and we know it’s Him!

We don’t conjure it up or manufacture it on our own.

He makes Himself known.

In the early morning hours.�At that dreaded doctor’s appointment.�While walking the dog.�Changing a diaper.�In an encouraging conversation with a friend.�In the quiet moments when we least expect to encounter Him.

The God of the universe makes Himself known to us in the middle of our very ordinary lives and we feel fully alive.

Where has He met you this week in a way that you felt fully alive in his presence?

Polly Balint is living proof of the generational blessing of godly mentorship.

Throughout her life, Polly has been richly blessed by older women who have mentored her. Their influences were so meaningful that Polly eventually wrote a book about them! Polly Balint Author

In her book, Nurture, Polly shares the stories of the older women who have impacted her, encourages readers through her own spiritual insights, and lovingly points women to also pursue mentoring in their own lives.

Polly is now a mentor for Be Seen Ministries and her mentee Monica, is now a recipient of this generational blessing. Monica shares, “Polly offers such wisdom and encouragement and her passion for God’s Word shines through in her words and actions. I am so grateful that she has been such a light in my life!”

We are so grateful for these women who poured into Polly and for the blessing she continues to pass on to others in her writing and relationships.

✨ Mentor Spotlight ✨

It’s always so exciting to see how God bonds the hearts of our mentors and mentees in such special ways.

Through mentoring this past year, Carissa could not agree more!

Carissa shares, “Chelsea and I have connected not only in a mentoring relationship but it’s become a sweet friendship. I love being able to walk along side her and share what God has taught me over the years (sometimes through lots of heartache and trials) to help her seek Him. Investing in another woman in one-on-one mentoring has been such a gift!” 🎁

We can see God‘s beautiful design in the spiritual nurturing relationship between an older and younger woman who both desire to grow in truth and godliness. It’s a blessing that flows both ways.

Through the sacred exchange of encouragement, discipleship, and love, women are forever changed for his glory!

✨ Mentor Spotlight! ✨

Meet Lori! Lori serves as a mentor and director for the ministry! We love this photo of her with her mentee!

Here are a few words from Lori about her mentorship journey, “One of my favorite things about mentorship is the joy that comes from walking alongside of another woman in all seasons of life! It is the sweetest gift to sit across from one another, share struggles, celebrate victories, and grow in our relationship with Christ through it all. It was such an honor to witness my mentee's pregnancy journey, to pray over her and her precious baby each step along the way, and to celebrate the amazing gift that God was so kind to bless her with! He is so, SO GOOD. “ 🩷

We are so thankful for every mentor that serves with Be Seen Ministries. No one is claiming that our mentors are perfect or have all the answers. But one thing is certain; they have walked with Jesus, long enough to know that He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Our mentors are here to go deeper with you in your walk with Jesus and encourage and equip you to live a life for God’s glory.

When a mentor and mentee sit down together, it may look like a conversation between two women...

But there’s always a third Person at the table.

The Holy Spirit.

His presence is everything! He brings power. He brings peace. He brings comfort. He brings wisdom. His words breathe life and hope! He opens our eyes to God’s Word, convicts our hearts of sin, leads us to repentance, tells us who we are, and always points us back to Jesus.

His voice is the most important one at the table. Create space to hear Him speak. Trust that he is at work in every conversation. May all praise and glory be given to him through this party of three.

✨ Introducing: Mentor Spotlights ✨

Each week we want to introduce you to an amazing woman who serves as a mentor at Be Seen Ministries.

Our hope is that as you meet each one, you’ll begin to picture yourself across the table from a mentor—sharing coffee, opening God’s Word, asking honest questions, praying together, and growing in faith.

So here we go! Meet Janice! She was paired with her first mentee in January. Her heart for mentoring is rooted in the call of Titus 2—to encourage and disciple younger women, passing on the wisdom God has given her through walking hand in hand with Jesus. Mentoring has been such a blessing in her life and through it she has gained a forever friend . 🤍

We can’t get more than two seconds into Scripture before we see God’s glory on full display! It’s breathtaking to realize that through Christ, we are invited to share in His divine nature—to rely on His infinite perfection, His almighty power, and His wondrous works as we seek to live godly lives both now and for eternity.

It has been graciously given to us, equipping us with everything we need for life and godliness. As we abide in Him, that power transforms us, producing knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, and love.

What an incredible gift—that the God of all creation doesn’t simply call us to holiness; He empowers us to walk in it.
