Wonderful to see Sharon at the Northern terminus of The Appalachian Trail, after nearly 2200 miles of trekking!!! She started her trek towards end of Feb 2025, which makes it an average clip of trekking 10 to 11 miles each day for five and half months. Hopefully you'll enjoyed the great pictures sent by Sharon along the way. Please join us in thanking Sharon for enabling us to be a part of this amazing journey and helping us raise money for a wonderful cause!

In the beginning, we made a promise to raise $1 donation towards St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, for each mile trekked. We are happy to mention that the total amount collected and donated to St. Jude as of today is nearly $2800!!! We would like to thank each and every one who generously donated towards a great cause like Early Childhood Cancer Research at St. Jude.

This update is from The Appalachian Trail mile marker 1691.6, which is 591.6 trekked miles from our last update on Memorial Day! We will be donating $591.60 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 504.4 miles left to reach the end point of the trail at Mt. Katahdin, Maine. Great work Sharon!!!

Sharon has completed a total of approximately 625 miles, roughly one fourth of the distance to Maine. Currently in Virgina!

We are very excited to announce a fundraiser campaign, namely, 'The Appalachian Trail to St. Jude'. As many would be aware, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a preeminent research institution focused on children's health, where treatment is always provided free of charge to parents, including cases of pediatric cancer.

The Appalachian Trail is a 2197-mile national heritage nature trail from Georgia to Maine. Ms. Sharon Morin, an early childhood educator from Georgia, started trekking this trail on March 1st, 2025, from Springer Mountain, Georgia, and has since covered approximately 275 miles towards Katahdin, Maine. Community Works Intl. has created this campaign with hopes of collecting a small donation towards St. Jude, for every mile trekked by Ms. Sharon.

Ivy League Academy, based in Cu***ng, Georgia, will kick off by committing to donate $1 for each trekked mile. We humbly request everyone, whether it be an individual, group, organization or a large business, to join this noble cause. No amount is too small, even a commitment of 1 cent/trekked mile, will add up to $21.97 at the end. Please note, 100% of your donation goes directly to St. Jude. We hope to update Ms. Sharon's progress each month, with many magnificent pictures taken along the trail.

Parents at Ivy League Academy generously donated toys and back packs. These back packs will be given to foster children, many of whom have nothing to carry their few belongings, as they go from home to home.
