Everyday essentials like these make a difference, and we’re always reminded that there are so many ways to support our young adults. Whether it’s donating items, sharing your time, or helping spread the word, every bit of support means so much to us.

Our team had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Forsyth County Drug Summit yesterday at Local Church Forsyth, hosted by the Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council . 💚

The evening focused on education, prevention, and important conversations around substance use and the developing adolescent brain. Dr. Kristen Gilliland of 22 Forever shared her experience and expertise on adolescent brain health, mental health, and substance use prevention, giving everyone a lot to think about.

At The DROP, we know that supporting young adults means understanding the challenges that can shape their lives and continuing to learn how we can better show up for them.

We’re thankful to the organizers, speakers, community leaders, and everyone who helped bring this conversation to Forsyth County. These conversations matter and we're grateful to be part of them!

A lot of life happens in the everyday moments.

Getting ready for work. Heading to class. Showing up for an interview. Putting on clean clothes and feeling ready to take on the day.

At The DROP, we want our young adults to have access to the everyday essentials that help make those moments possible. Laundry detergent might seem like a small thing, but small things add up.

This October, we’re collecting laundry detergent to help keep The DROP stocked for the young adults we serve. 🫧

It’s not the biggest need or the most visible one. But it’s one of those everyday things that matters.

📍Laundry detergent can be dropped off Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM at 133 Samaritan Dr. Ste. 109 in Cu***ng.

The DROP is a program of Forsyth County Community Connection -Ga Family Connection Partnership, serving young adults ages 18–24 who are facing housing insecurity in our community.

Every photo here represents a little piece of what makes The DROP what it is. The volunteers who show up, the meals shared, the workshops, the celebrations, the conversations, and all the moments in between.

There are some moments at The DROP that are hard to put into words. 💚

We celebrated our September birthdays and when it was time to light the candles, three of our young adults gathered around and helped light them together.

For just a moment, it was simply three people celebrating one another.

But watching them lean in, help each other, and share in the excitement felt like so much more than a birthday celebration. It was friendship. It was connection. It was being surrounded by people who are happy to see you have a moment worth celebrating.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest moments that remind us why this place matters!

We are honored to partner with CARE to offer Mastering Your Finances in a Digital Age, a FREE 4-part workshop series designed for women in our local community ages 18 and older.

The series focuses on building financial literacy skills and promoting digital safety, helping participants confidently navigate today's increasingly digital world. BMore Learning is one of the few non-profits in the state of Georgia selected to partner with CARE for this initiative.

⏰ Each session is from 5:30 to 8pm, with childcare and dinner provided.
